Introducing a few links

Oz Magazine was one of the seminal counter-culture publications in Australia and Britain during the '60s and early-70's. The magazine's editorial team twice faced trial on obscenity charges, once in Australia and later in the UK - for the infamous 'schoolkids' edition. On both occasions the appeal courts acquitted the editors. Follow the link to see digitised issues of this controversial magazine.

The Principia Discordia is a 'holy' book written by Malaclypse the Younger (Greg Hill) and Omar Khayyam Ravenhurst (Kerry Thornley). Predating the mysticism of the hippies by several years, Hill and Thornley founded an anarchic creative religion known as Discordianism. This religion is best known through the works of an associate of Hill and Thornley, Robert Anton Wilson (who died recently and will be sadly missed). The advent of the Internet provided those interested in Discordianism with a means to spread the word, as a search on Google for 'Discordian' will testify.
