Wednesday wallpaper: Turner`s The Burning of the Houses of Parliament

On 16th October 1834, the painter J.M.W. Turner witnessed the fire that destroyed the Palace of Westminster. He produced a watercolour sketch of the inferno as he watched, which later became the basis for a number of paintings on the theme. In the second of a series of collections of wallpapers of Turner's art I present one of these paintings The Burning of the Houses of Parliament (1834).
